Mentoring is a key component of the “I Have a Dream Foundation” model

In the Inspire the Dream! Mentoring Program, Dreamer Scholars are matched with long-term, reliable, supportive, and caring adults who provide individualized guidance and connection and serve as positive role models. The mentoring program not only provides Dreamer Scholars with the tools and resources they need to succeed but also fosters meaningful relationships that can last a lifetime. The impact of mentoring can be significant and long-lasting.

Studies have shown that students who have a mentor are more likely to graduate from high school, attend college, and have higher career aspirations. Furthermore, having a mentor can improve a student's self-esteem, confidence, and overall well-being. By pairing students with caring and dedicated mentors, the program is helping to create a brighter future for all.
