Short-Term Volunteer Opportunity (After-School Support)

IHDFNJ welcomes short-term volunteers to support our after-school program by assisting staff with activities and engaging with scholars.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting staff with structured activities and programming

• Assisting with group activities, games, and enrichment tasks

• Engaging with scholars in a positive and supportive way

• Helping maintain a safe and fun learning environment

Guidelines:

• Short-term volunteers may participate up to five times per semester

Those who wish to volunteer more frequently must complete the mentor application and screening process!

Availability:

• Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Short-term volunteers may participate up to five times per semester
