Back in Session!

IHDFNJ officially resumed its after school programming on September 21, welcoming Dream Scholars back for another year of learning, connection, and enrichment.

To help make the transition back to programming special, each scholar received a welcome gift that included school supplies and stress balls to support them as they settled into the new school year.

The scholars jumped back into programming with a variety of engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and encourage them to think about their futures. Scholars participated in Spanish Club, explored a postsecondary lesson focused on envisioning a successful future, and were introduced to IHDFNJ’s culinary class.

The return to after school programming marked an exciting beginning for scholars and staff alike. With new lessons, enrichment opportunities, and continued support from the IHDFNJ team, the new school year is off to a strong start.
