First Student Council Election 2026

On March 6, 2026, IHDFNJ proudly held its very first Student Council election, marking an exciting step toward empowering student leadership within the program.

Each candidate took the stage to present their speech, sharing their ideas and explaining why they would be a strong choice for their desired position.

After all candidates had spoken, every Dreamer was given the opportunity to vote, allowing the entire program to participate in the democratic process.

This meaningful experience not only ensured that student voices were heard, but also gave participants a chance to practice the responsibilities that come with civic engagement.

IHDFNJ looks forward to continuing to work closely with its Dreamers and further incorporating student perspectives into program decision making.
