Congressman Rob Menendez Visits “I Have a Dream” Foundation

The “I Have a Dream” Foundation recently welcomed Congressman Rob Menendez to its New Jersey cohort as part of an AmeriCorps donation and community visit.

During his visit, Congressman Menendez received a tour of the program and had the opportunity to see students engaged in their daily activities. The tour included a stop at the garden, where younger students were participating in a hands-on gardening activity.

He also visited the classrooms, where he watched 4th through 6th grade students race to solve their multiplication clocks. In another classroom, he saw 3rd graders working on their LEGO Port Authority project, showcasing their creativity and teamwork.

The visit highlighted the engaging learning experiences taking place throughout the New Jersey cohort and the importance of continued community support.
