Celebrating Afterschool Professional Appreciation Week 2026

During Afterschool Professional Appreciation Week, IHDFNJ took time to recognize the dedicated staff members who support and guide Dreamer Scholars throughout their journey.

From April 20 through April 24, staff were celebrated through a special video featuring scholars sharing some of their favorite things about the educators and team members who make a meaningful impact in their lives.

The celebration continued with flowers presented by the scholars and a special staff lunch as an expression of gratitude.

The week served as a reminder of the important relationships built between staff and Dreamers each day and the lasting influence that caring, committed educators can have on young people.

IHDFNJ is grateful for the staff members whose dedication helps create an environment where Dreamers can learn, grow, and thrive.
